The Almond

Why is it key? After seasons of popularity, we have
started to see the cat's-eye shape start to
downtrend as a fashion item for women. In its place
is the rounded almond frame. Building on the
emergence of the directional slim oval shape, the
almond is a more versatile, flattering shape for both
men and women.
Design details: make this a more
considered option in lieu of the cat's
eye, with a rounded shape
culminating in a soft point to the
outside of the frame. Use lightweight
wire frames to create a more delicate
look in line with the shape. Adding
bridge details and nose pieces to
balance the shape is an additional
option.
