Why is it key? Tracking this shape from recent
catwalks and collections presented at trade
shows, it would be a wise investment to add a
butterfly shape into women's collections. The
emergence of playful, #novelty eyewear from
hype-worthy designers such
as @godsomwaremakes this the perfect
fashion-over-function item to round out A/W
20/21 ranges.
Design details: use the butterfly
silhouette as a base, exaggerating the
winged profile as little or as much as
your consumer would feel
comfortable with. Amethyst-tinted
lenses or ombré colour treatments
confirm this as a fashion item. Add
delicate wire frames to create a subtle
outline.
